Cheese Stuffed Chicken Fingers

Cheese Stuffed Chicken Fingers
A quick high protein air fryer snack with lots of protein
Equipment
Ingredients
- 8 ounces ground chicken
- 1/2 cup Romano Parmesan grated
- 1 large egg
- 3 tbsp butter melted
- 1 tbsp garlic minced, or use powdered garlic
- 1 tsp parsley chopped, fresh or dried
- 1/4 cup marinara for dipping (optional)
Instructions
- Mix well ground chicken, egg and Romano Parmesan
- Add garlic and parsley to melted butter and stir well
- Form chicken mixture around one mozzarella/string cheese stick, covering all of the cheese stickRepeat for each cheese stick until all ground chicken is used.
- Brush all sides of each stick with the melted butter mixture
- Add chicken sticks to the air fryer basket or tray and cook for 12 minutes at 400F degrees. Flip halfway. Cook until internal chicken temperature reaches at least 165F degrees
Notes
Makes 4 sticks with 2 sticks per serving.
Serve with marinara, if desired or any dipping sauce of your choice.
